Course Description

This course will focus on leadership development from a Christian perspective. The emphasis is on building an understanding of leadership strengths and how to use this understanding to develop emerging leaders. Principles discussed here apply to leaders in both church and secular environments.

Course Objectives & Learning Outcomes

Depending on the student’s effort and mastery of the subject, it is expected that by the end of this course, they would be able to:

1. Appreciate the foundational qualities that Christian leaders need to develop.
2. Identify and discuss their leadership strengths and weakness.
3. Recognize the important role that key people play in a leader’s growth.
4. Develop perspective on a leader’s development over a lifetime.
5. Assist in the development of emerging leaders.
6. Discuss Biblical perspectives on leadership
