Why Join This Class?

This course is an overview of the New Testament, highlighting its organization, overall themes, historical context, and major events, as well as key words, names, and places mentioned in each book.
New Testament is Christian Scripture, the authoritative word of God, orientating and guiding our thinking and living. As we read and study the New Testament carefully, we will explore the expanse of the New Testament world by bringing narrative and poetry, parable and teaching, and wisdom and apocalypse through many centuries into our contemporary world. Relying on the Holy Spirit and our church communities, we will endeavour to read the New Testament to understand and be transformed.
