Christian Counselling

The Christian Counselling program combines intensive counselling training with a more complete understanding of the Bible and applied theology, along with a broader awareness of ministry within the local church.

My time at PLBC was honestly unforgettable. Initially, I went into the counselling program to learn more about myself. Here, I found my passion for coming alongside people and reducing barriers to be transformed into fully devoted followers of Jesus.

2014 Graduate, Christian Counselling Diploma

PURPOSE

The Christian Counselling program combines intensive counselling training with an understanding of the Bible and applied theology, along with an awareness of ministry within the local church. The 64 credit counselling major gives students an in-depth study of counselling models and theories, integrated with biblical principles for effective application. The remaining 57 credits of the BA cover a thorough background in Bible and theology, expanding capacity for taking on teaching and leadership opportunities.
