FMD ONLINE COHORTS

As Canada’s Foursquare Bible College, PLBC is excited to be offering a new initiative to support pastors and leaders in the Foursquare Gospel Church of Canada. Starting Spring 2024 we will be offering Foursquare Ministerial Diploma (FMD) classes through online cohorts. This delivery method offers several benefits:

  • Classes are taught by live instructors.
  • Students have the oppportunity for meaningful interaction with faculty.
  • Geography is not an impediment to receiving quality education.
  • Instructors are practitioners and part of the Foursquare family.
  • Students receive college credit that counts toward future educational opportunities.

These classes will help equip you for Spirit-empowered ministry in our changing world. Invest in your education and see the impact in your ministry context.

Low-Cost Accredited Education

Through our partnership with the Foursquare Gospel Church of Canada, licensed ministers can enjoy the benefits of education at an incredibly low cost. In recognition of the generous support of the Foursquare family, PLBC offers all licensed ministers a bursary that covers 50% of class tuition. Upon successful completion of a course students can apply for the Foursquare Educational Subsidy and be reimbursed for the remaining tuition. For the cost of books and some fees, you can work towards your FMD without adding any financial strain.

FMD BACKGROUND

Foursquare Canada is committed to equipping its ministers with a solid foundation of biblical and theological training. To support this aim the FMD was developed as the minimum educational requirement for all licensed ministers. This diploma, granted by the Foursquare Gospel Church of Canada, can be pursued by taking courses through PLBC or through the FMD Essentials track. For more information about FMD or Leadership Enrichment and Development (LEAD) contact Tom Gardner at lead@foursquare.ca.
