This summer Jen Wright becomes our Pastoral Leadership Program Director and we are excited about our continued mission of equipping leaders for effective ministry in the church. Continue reading to get to know Jen better:

Jen is west coast of BC born and raised; most of her years were in Powell River, BC, with the last 10+ being in the Vancouver area. She loves being outside hiking or biking and is often found on a mountain or near the ocean. She has served in pastoral ministry for more than 20 years as a youth pastor and lead pastor and is currently the executive pastor at Northside Church in Coquitlam, BC.

Jen is not new to the PLBC family. Joining as adjunct faculty in 2017, she loves seeing students grow in their relationship with God and understanding of ministry. She is also an alumnus two time over with a B.Th in 2010 and DPC in 2012. Continuing in a commitment to learning she earned a Masters in Strategic Leadership from Life Pacific University and is working on a second.

Her hope for students is that they would be equipped for pastoral ministry in their context; and that they would understand their calling and how to lead and pastor effectively.
